On the 12th of December AUW held the second annual winner ceremony for the Yousif Badri Civic Engagement International Prize  fir civically engaged universities. The first prize was given to El-Imam El-Mahdi University for their program on "Training Woman in the field of Nutrition" that aims at training woman in the field of nutrition and environmental health. The second prize was awarded to the Aga Khan University, Pakistan, for their program "Urban Health Program (UHP)" which focuses on promoting the development of an equitable and sustainable health care system that embraces the health and social needs of the under privileged and underserved segments of the populations in partnership with communities, government and NGOs. The third prize was awarded to the International University of Africa for their program "Convoys and camps for female students" which provides training for female students, practically in planning, administration and implementation of programs and projects, conducting research and studies on the regions and most vulnerable communities, and provide moral and material support for the areas to which the convoys are heading.
